For young mothers on social assistance who are interested in joining Women Moving Forward or some other training or education program, child care is key to their success.  Due to a lack of funding at all levels of government, women who require subsidized child care are told they must wait indefinitely for a space.  This lack of support for the efforts ambitious women are making to move towards economic independence is unacceptable.  Below are some of the letters being sent by staff and participants of WMF:
